Hajj authorisation vs Umrah entry
Direct answer: Hajj permission follows the official Hajj / Nusuk process. Umrah uses the visit, eVisa, or other framework in force for your nationality that season. Mixing the two is how people buy the wrong product.
Read GOV.UK Saudi Arabia travel advice and the pilgrimage subsection. If an agent says you do not need official sites because “we handle everything”, that is a sales line, not a legal opinion.
British citizens and mixed-nationality families
A UK household is often not one passport type. A British citizen, a spouse on a different passport, and a child on another can face different forms. The quote must list each traveller’s nationality. “Umrah visa UK” as a search term does not mean every person in your WhatsApp group is covered by the same button.
We will ask for passport details because the application path may split. We will not pretend a single blog table can list every country’s rule.

What if my application is refused after I paid for hotels?
